Is there a bathroom on board?
* YES. There is a fully functional HEAD (Sailors call the bathroom the head)
complete with running water, T.P., and hand soap.
Will the boat tip over?
* NO. Our boats can handle conditions rougher than we will ever allow our clients
to go out in. These boats are not your grandpa's sunfish.
What if the weather is bad?
* Safety is our #1 priority. Cruising credits will be given for inclement weather,
which will be determined by the Captain.
How many passengers can you accommodate?
* Each boat has a legal capacity of six passengers, plus captain and crew. Our
combined fleet capacity can accommodate groups of 60+.
What if there is no wind?
* Unfortunately, we do not control the wind. However, we do have a motor and
we will do everything we can to ensure you have fun. You can enjoy swimming,
music, fabulous views, and good company.
Where are you located?
* Boats are located in the North section of Monroe harbor just North of Chicago
Yacht Club. (see detailed driving directions above.)
Where can I Park?
* Monroe St. Parking Garage. Parking is $12 (see directions above.)
Can we bring our own food?
* Catering and beverage packages are available but you are also welcome to bring
snacks.
What should I wear/bring.
* Dressing in layers is recommended, especially in the early spring or late
fall when you can expect the temperature on the water to be 10 to 15 degrees
below the land temperature. Sunscreen and sunglasses are very important in the
summer. Remember that the sun reflects off the water and can cause sunburn if
you are not protected. A waterproof jacket or windbreaker is a good idea in
case the weather changes. If you plan on swimming bring a suit and towel. Light
soled closed-toed shoes are recommended. Sandals will also work but offer less
protection. Ladies, for your protection and comfort, no high heels.
