Accept no imitations! This tour is what made Bobby famous, taking you off the tourist beat and onto the quiet neighborhood streets, city parks, and packed beaches of the North Side of Chicago, giving you a glimpse as to how Chicagoans enjoy their beautiful city.

Our day tour is a 3-hour orientation to all the major sights north of the Chicago River. All tours begin with insights into Chicago's past, including the Historic Water Tower, the only structure to have survived the Great Fire in 1871. We'll ride through Chicago's top shopping areas, the Magnificent Mile and the plush shops of Oak Street, meander through Chicago's historic district, Old Town, and breeze the leafy lanes of the most powerful neighborhoods, home to the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Hefner, and yours truly, Bobby Chicago. 

Chicago's trendiest nightlife and world-renowned restaurants await us as we cruise up Rush Street. A 30-minute break at a cafe/beer garden nestled in the heart of Lincoln Park gives way to a gorgeous lakefront ride and one of the most impressive skyline views in the world.

The entrance to the pedestrian walkway leading to us is at the southeast corner of Illinois Street and McClurg Court

Directions:

Heading Southbound Lake Shore Drive:
Exit right on Grand Avenue and travel west to McClurg Court. Turn left (south) on McClurg Ct. and proceed one block to Illinois Street. 465 N. McClurg Ct

Heading Northbound Lake Shore Drive:
Exit right at the Navy Pier/Grand Avenue/ Illinois Street. At the first light, at the bottom of the ramp, go straight (north). At the second light, go left (west) on Grand Avenue. Turn left (south) on McClurg Ct. and proceed one block to Illinois Street. 465 N. McClurg Ct

From Michigan Avenue:
Go east on Ohio Street three blocks and turn right (south) on McClurg Ct. Proceed two blocks to Illinois Street. 465 N. McClurg Ct

Parking:

Parking in available in the River East Art Center Building located at 435 E Illinois Street, Chicago, IL 60611

By Public Transport:

Six CTA buses go directly to River East Plaza: the 29, 56, 65, 66, 120 (express bus from the Northwestern Train Station) and the 121 (express bus from Union Station). Call the CTA at (312) 836-7000 for specific directions from your location, or visit www.transitchicago.com and www.metrarail.com. Make sure you step off at McClurg Ct. and Illinois St. 465 N. McClurg Ct

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Vouchers - when your booking is confirmed. Print both vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present these E-Ticket vouchers at the Tour Office.

Cancellation and Refund Information:

Confirmed online reservations canceled by the customer at least 72 hours prior to the trip date will be charged a $10.00 per person cancellation fee. Confirmed reservations cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the trip date will be charged in full.

If Bobby's Bike Hike cancels a trip for any reason, bad weather or inadequate load requirements, a 100% refund will be issued. Bobby's Bike Hike reserves the right to cancel any trip.

Bobby's Bike Hike assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers.
