Navy Pier puts on a spectacular fireworks display every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 10:15 p.m. from Memorial Day thru Labor Day Weekend. (weather permitting) . Enjoy the show with these fun tours and activities.

Chicago SeaDog Fireworks Cruise

The Seadog Fireworks cruise is one of the most popular. Enjoy an extended speedboat cruise, with a narrated tour, Strategic boat position means one of the very best views of the Navy Pier fireworks. Every seat on our Seadog fireworks cruise has spectacular open panoramic views of the world famous Chicago skyline. These cruises depart at 9:00 p.m. and return at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and depart 9:45 p.m. and return at 10:45 p.m. on Saturdays.

Like a party on wheels, we’ll ride through downtown to see brand new Millennium Park, Museum Campus, and Buckingham Fountain, with its world-renown light show. You’ll see our favorite, jaw-dropping vantage points of the scintillating skyline. Wednesday and Saturday nights include the skyline fireworks display at Navy Pier.

Fireworks Kayak Trip

Watch the fire in the sky, from the cockpit of a kayak. Paddle from North Ave. down the river to watch the fireworks at Navy Pier. We will paddle about 6 miles. Some prior paddle experience is recomended.. Reservations Strongly Recommended. Fireworks Paddle available every Saturday Night, Memorial Day through the End of October and also Wednesday nights throught the end of August.

Come and paddle out to watch the Fireworks from the cockpit of a kayak. We will start at North Ave and paddle down the Chicago River, paddle under the water canon and up towards navy pier to watch the fireworks. After the fire works we will paddle back to North Ave. The paddle is 3 miles each way, so come prepared to paddle. Some athleticism is required. Lights are included. Extra flashlight or bike light is recommended.
