Not long after the turn of the century, in a decade known as the Roaring Twenties, the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages was outlawed and strictly prohibited. Nevertheless, men like Alphonse Capone and his mafia family refused to adhere to the law, opening illegal speakeasies across the city of Chicago, offering alcoholic, gambling and hotbox entertainment. Welcome back to The Roaring Twenties, the era of prohibition.

While in Chicago, you must see, Tommy Gun's Garage, Chicago's only original Speakeasy Dinner Theater. You're an actor too when you come to Tommy Gun's Garage. We'll get raided by da cops, complete wit raid sirens and flashing lights and you'll act like you're at a south side revival meeting, udderwise, you may get pulled up on stage to perform a hilarious sobriety test given by Officer Murphy and den get interviewed by Vito.

After 22 years in business, Tommy Gun’s Garage Dinner Theater is the longest running Dinner Show in Chicago. The show is appropriate for any age group. We entertain grade schools, high schools, senior citizens, corporate and convention groups. It is also fun for everyone. Tommy Gun’s get’s visitors from all over the world. When you walk into Tommy Gun’s you will be transported back to Chicago’s Roaring Twenties complete with Da Boss’s 1928 Ford Model A Car, a replica of da St. Valentine’s Day Massacre Wall, and pictures and memorabilia from the 1920’s.

Tommy Gun's Garage is an audience interactive speakeasy which offers a musical comedy revue wit da gangsters, da flappers and YOU! (uh, dats audience participation) After dinner join Vito, Gloves, da mugs and da dolls for non stop comedy and dangerous fun as dey entertain you's wit singing, dancing and a lot of audience participation.

Tommy Guns Sample Dinner Menu:

• "Big Jim" Colosimo: Fresh baked lasagna with marinara or meat sauce

• The Kingpin:  Roasted Prime Rib big enough for Da Boss - 12 oz. cut, (served with au juliene)

• Frankie's Feast: 2 - 7 oz. Pork Chops broiled to perfection - with mushroom sauce

• "Big Bill" Thompson: Baked Salmon with lemon herb sauce topped with a tomato & cucumber dill garnish

• Don't Call Me Chicken: 9 oz. Boneless Breast of Chicken with your choice of mushroom or lemon herb sauce

Dinners Include: 

• Soup or Salad, Vegetables, Potato, Bread, Butter, Rainbow Sherbet, Coffee Tea or Soft Drink,

• Dessert served at intermission

January - December: Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6:00pm, Friday at 7:00pm and Sundays at 5:30pm

Detailed Show Dates:

• January: Friday and Saturday Only
• February - March: Thursday - Sunday
• April - September: Wednesday - Sunday
• October - December: Thursday - Sunday

Departure Location:

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tour time. Tommy Guns is located at 2114 S. Wabash Ave; Chicago, IL 60616. It is 12 blocks South of Congress; 1/2 a block North of Cermak (22nd) on Wabash Ave. in Chicago's South Loop.

Parking:

Tommy Guns provides free parking for its guests. The parking lot is located at the club address and the entrance is accessible off Wabash Avenue.

Blackout Dates:

Tommy Guns will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

 

Payment:

Your Credit Card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard and Discover Card.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the show are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for no shows. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.
